An Adoptee's Holiday Wish
'Twas the night before Christmas,
One wish in my heart - to be reunited with one long apart.
The agencies say no, the governments too . . but all I ask for is the same rights as you.
To know my past, my blood & my birth . .
to know my story in all of its worth.
So this night I do wish & hope for a sign, that one day I will know the truth that is mine.
