Wonderfully descriptive....I felt like I was sitting beside you in the winter landscape. During my many travels through PA over the past several years I was saddened to see so many housing developments dotting the landscape, destroying the beauty of the countryside there.

.. such a fine farm tale, read before the dawn.. ! .. another lighter & more ‘open hearted walk along’ into your day.. & it might be mine .. as well

.. mine ? mainly age twelve to twenty one at most, former city kid.. no ferret of course & deer scuffled for trefoil in the lee of our grand hill

.. southwestern ontario canada, where the Grand River watershed starts its gather & run to Lake Erie’s northern shores & wetlands
